Is Apple Tracking You Through Your iPhone?

Today, a person's location on an iPhone can be tracked depending on how close they are to wifi hotspots and cell towers. For users, any phone can be found through Apple's app "Find My iPhone". This calls in to question whether this information is being sent directly to Apple. Apple officially responded to the speculated GPS tracking mess. They said no and also claimed they do not have plans in the future to track people's iPhones. Apple says tracking an iPhone is useful for GPS apps and to recover lost phones. Still, that fact that it will store months worth of location details creeps some people out and refrains them from buying iPhones. Another interesting fact is that it will continue to collect data even when users turn off location services. But Apple says they will fix these issues in their next update.
