Sony Providing Apple With Cameras?

Yes, it's true, Sony is providing Apple with cameras for the next batch/generation of iPhones, iPods and iPads. During a interview with the Wall Street Journal, Sony's CEO, Sir Howard Stringer casually let the fact slip that Sony is producing the cameras for Apple. But is this surprising, Apple not making their own parts, let alone cameras? Not at all, in fact, companies actually give (sell, but lets use the term give) parts to Apple to use, but many companies do not, they refuse. Intel, for example, won't give Apple its processors because Apple uses the ARM architecture, but this is only in portable devices, computers is a different story. Over the years many companies have stopped giving Apple parts and now only a handful are left. If this handful leaves the group, then Apple is in very big trouble. But for now, Sony is still supplying Apple with cameras.

Final speculation comes to what camera can we expect in the iPhone 5? Will it be the Sony Exmor Sensor as in the Xperia Arc, or will it be better? 8 Megapixel? Quadruple LED Flash? I really don't know, but what ever it is, Sony will provide with very good cameras/sensors.

Verizon Wireless 4G LTE Hotspot Arriving Tommorow

The 4G LTE Hotspot is manufactured by Samsung and supports both 4G and 3G.

It is here! Verizon Wireless released their 4G LTE Wireless Broadband hotspot will be available to purchase on Thursday (3-31-2011) and will boast some of the fastest wireless broadband speeds in the United States. The download speeds start at about 5 Mbps and go up to around 15 Mbps, while upload still lags at anywhere form 2-6 Mbps. However, this speed comes at a hefty price, the hotspot costs $100 with a $50 dollar rebate and a 4G LTE plan that is $50 a month with a 5 GB data cap every month. Overall, you get great speed and reliability but internet power users should watch for data caps, and everyone should be cautious of the high cost of the LTE plan and the hotspot. Overall, it is an average buy, but if your phone has a mobile hotspot or if you do not need wireless broadband, I suggest you wait for prices to go down.
