Today, Sanjay Jha, CEO of Motorola Mobility, and Dan Hesse, CEO of Sprint, sat down together to introduce to the world the Motorola Photon 4G. The device includes a 4.3 qHD screen, HD video recording, the newest version of both blur and Gingerbread, a kickstand that when opened flips the orientation to landscape, 8mp back camera and a VGA one on the front, a dedicated camera button, and support for an Atrix 4G type dock.
This is the first device from a US carrier that offers both 4G support, and support for dual CDMA GSM. The only disappointment is that it is a half inch thick, which is as thick as the original iPad. In other words, its a bit chubby for a phone, but the good news is that it has soft touch plastic on the back that feels good in the hand.
