Well, the top of the line Windows Phones got the update, but what if you wanted it too? Fear not, with just a PC and the Zune Client you can "hack" your way to a updated phone just follow the instructions below:
1. Update you phone to the most current update FOR YOUR PHONE (This will not be Mango (7.5) but will be the most recent update for your phone) If there is an update check if it is update 7720, which is Mango itself, and so you can skip this guide.
2. If you are already in the update tab, press any other button (above or below update).
3. Now get ready to disconnect from the internet by either pulling the cord or turning off the switch, and then go back to the update tab, wait 1-2 seconds and disconnect from the internet. If it says your phone is already up-to-date, then you need to disable the internet faster, don't worry, just redo this step until you see step 4.
4. After successfully disconnecting the internet, and waiting about 30 seconds, a message should say something about an update available, this is update 7392, it should say "7.0.7392.0".
5. Reconnect to the internet and then update your phone to the 7392 update.
6. Time to go back to step 3 and get the 7403 update by using the same force method
7. Finally for the actual Mango update! The Zune manager should automatically start installing 7720 (Mango), but if it doesn't then just go back to step 3 and follow directions.
That's it! You now should be running mango on your Windows Phone!
