Google has added a huge amount of new features to Android 4.0, so I thought I'd make a list of some of the most important ones:

UI:
Google stuck with the almost Tron-like UI of honeycomb here. The main buttons are built into the software, and the launcher is customizable. Google also created a brand new font for 4.0 to make text easier to read on the device.

Camera:
Google added features such as panorama and photo editing as built in features. Google also promises close to zero shutter lag with the new software

Built in Apps:
Google is also updating all of its core applications including YouTube and Google maps for the new iteration of android. Apps look to be closer to what is seen on Honeycomb.

Google is also updating the browser, with features such as tabbed browsing.
One of the more interesting features, however, is Google beam, an application that allows NFC enabled phones to share everything just by touching phones. And I mean everything. One phone in the demo was playing minecraft and they bumped- and the other phone began downloading the app.
Contacts are much better integrated into Android in this version as well.
