Elderly Woman From Georgia Accidentaly Disconnects Internet in 2 Countries.

A couple of days ago, almost the entire country of Armenia, and parts of Georgia, had their Internet disconnected for about five hours. This took place after an elderly woman, 75, was scavenging for scrap metal to sell. Seeing a fiber optic cable where she was looking, and thinking it valuable, she decided to cut a portion of it. This immediately brought down the Internet in 90% of Armenia, and most of Georgia. It is possible she will be prosecuted, but not likely due to her age. (Via buzzbox)
