Best Buy has 200,00 Touchpads Sitting Around.

As reported by allthingsd, Best Buy apparently has 200,000 HP TouchPads  in their inventory- and nobody's buying them. Sales were so dismal that Best Buy can't even sell HP's iPad killer at a 20% discount- undercutting Apple's iconic product by $100. Best Buy doesn't want to have to eat that loss- so much so that it is begging HP to buy them all back.


Best buy isn't the only one dissatissfied with the sales (other than HP). At least two other major retailers dropped their price by the same amount- and some sites online have dropped it by as many as $120.


The situation is so dire that HP's Executive VP Todd Bradley is considering traveling to meet with best buy to beg them to keep the TouchPads.

TouchPads are like mosquito bites in that nobody wants them but everybody has them.
