iPhone Fanboys are Crazy.

Just today I was browsing the web looking at tech news when I stumbled upon an article on NextiPhoneNews, a website dedicated to upholding the greatness of Apple's signature product. The article's title was

iPhone 5- In Theory Already Better Than The Droid Bionic.

So I started reading the article to see if they could back it up.

I have a bone to pick with this article. Actually a couple.
It will feature the A5 processor already used in the iPad 2. This will give it a 2x increase in CPU performance and a whopping 9x boost in graphics. This is likely to leave the Motorola well in the dust.
My reaction to this was "huh?". Because as we know, the Droid Bionic will feature a similar dual core processor with the same or better processing capabilities. So how will it be left in the dust?

Did you also notice where the authors wrote:
Most users like to personalize their phone, not only by using different ring tones or background images, but also with different accessories. The iPhone scores big here also.
Again, the same reaction. Where are these people getting there information? Android is far more customizable
than the iPhone. It allows users to place widgets, change the launcher, and have live wallpaper. All of this is not supported on iOS.  And then the author wrote about the apps.

It’s basically got thousands of third party accessories available, compared to just a few to come out for the Droid Bionic.
A few eh. How about 250,000.

The authors also mention the screen size. If they had fact checked any of the article, they would have noticed that while for a while many thought the Bionic would have a 4.5 inch display, it is now reputed to have a 4.3 inch display, just slightly larger than the iPhone 5's reputed 4 inches. Of course that is probably wrong too, as the size of the screen has not been revealed.

  1. Where do you see 250000 accessories apps utes accessories no. iOS is optimized for its hardware so it will run faster.

  2. According to most estimates there are 250,000+ apps in the Android Market. Android manufacturers do the same thing that Apple does: They optimize it for the specific phone.

  3. The quote you used in your article had nothing to do with the apps but purely with the accessories.  You know supplemental items you can buy to better your experience with the phone.
